Born in Funchal, I started my studies in arts and later moved to Porto to graduate in architecture. Painting and art itself had always been a very important part of me. Since a very young age I started painting, experimenting colours and exploring the sensation and emotion behind that phenomena. These paintings are a permanent experience of contemporary art, exploring abstract art and impressionism along with a study of the phenomenology of perception, initiated in architecture. Chaos and Order are two main themes in my paintings and collages.
