About The Artwork

'bright words make the eardrum vibrate brightly' is one of a series of tape drawings on dibond (aluminum) discs I recently created. This piece is a pure celebration of the medium (tape) and of color, as it is made up of thousands of tiny snippets of brightly colored tape which cover the aluminum disc entirely. The title is from a passage in the book IQ84 by Haruki Murakami. The piece requires no framing - the dibond disc has a z-bar mounted onto the back for hanging.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I am a city girl living in a small surf town in Southern California with my husband Xavier and two kiddos - Hugo and Esmé, who are 12 and 10. I am an avid reader (you can get to know me a bit through my reading habits by checking out the Instagram hashtag #mymorningreadinghour ) and start every work day with a bit of reading out in the sun with some iced tea. My studio is in my back yard and is a magical place I could (and do) spend endless hours in. If you're local to San Diego, feel free to get in touch about scheduling a studio visit and seeing some of the work in person!
