cid Collage

This is part of a series of collages I call "3 Part Art". They are inspired by "exquisite corpse", a game the Surrealists used to play that I also played with my family growing up. You fold a piece of paper into three parts and people draw a head, middle, or legs without seeing what others have drawn for the other parts. The results are fantastic and fun creatures. I have applied this idea to collage. Each 3 Part Art collage consists of 3 pieces cut from magazines. I have made nearly 1000 3-part art collages and they were included in a one-person show at the Lawrence Arts Center. Each one is named randomly with a 3 letter word. I am offering a small number of signed originals plus open prints for sale through Saatchi Art. I am also open to using the digital images in other forms.
