ABOUT THE ARTWORK

"Crazy Horse's Vision" The Artist's Perspective: This 3D artwork in giclee on archival paper attempts to capture the Vision Quest of "Crazy Horse" and represents a historical folklore/mythological image. Did you ever wonder why Crazy Horse earned that name, and why it was provided to him and even details about his life? It is admittedly a controversial interpretation of information about his story, and that is what artwork SHOULD capture. Copyrighted in the Library of Congress. Did you know that Crazy Horse had curly blond hair like his mother, and that he was not the only person in his family to be called "Crazy Horse"? He also was known to be very aloof, and he had a yellow lightning bolt symbol on his face, and his father had a red lightning bolt symbol. He also reportedly had a pebble implanted above his right ear and was told that his tribesmen should not touch him. Sound familiar? There are many reasons why he might have been aloof, but what possible reason could there be a pebble above his right ear? Take a look at wikipedia at and in particular scroll down to the "Visions" section. Read through all that information and then utilize that information to understand the intention for this artwork. Part of the vision is that there was a warrior on a horse that emerged from the water and the warrior was struck by lightning leaving a lightning bolt symbol. After emerging from the water, the horse was very unsteady, and his arms were held back by other braves. There are ufologists today who have stated on the record that ufos are erratic at low altitudes with relations to the ground, while some might say even "crazy". Furthermore, they have been known to travel underwater as easily as through the air. Any vehicles at that time were probably thought of as "horses" because of not having other points of reference. Put all the pieces together with information that is known today. New Phoenix

This 3D CGI artist works during the day in the Chicago metropolitan area as a Functional Consultant for a well-known global Financial Services company. This artist has several degrees including a Bachelor's Degree in Business Finance, and three Associate's Degrees in Accounting, Computer Programming, and Computer Information Systems. This artist also has an academic certification credential for Computer Security known as Security+. So, it could be said with certainty that this artist has a lot of training and academic education with lots of left-brain activities. On several occasions, during the course of one of this artist's career roles, this artist walked across from his high-profile downtown office building where he worked on the Magnificent Mile near the Michigan Avenue Bridge. There were frequent art exhibitions provided in tents where other artists were displaying their artworks for sale. This artist carefully reviewed the available artwork and thought to himself that he could do better artwork than what he was seeing at these art exhibitions. Because of the soul-crushing corporate world where employees toil away in virtual obscurity in an environment where creativity is actively discouraged or disregarded, this artist decided to pursue artwork as my avenue for self-expression. However, this artist prefers to utilize the name as New Phoenix, similar to Banksy for privacy reason. More interesting that way anyway. But this artist would sign his real name and provide a Certificate of authenticity. Just to clarify, this artist provided an innovative product design for the corporation for which he worked, and that idea should have been immediately considered for implementation. That product innovation was largely ignored and would have likely made millions of dollars. Every person to whom this artist had described his innovation says that it would have been a great product idea. In any case, after the innovative product idea was ignored, this artist provided a competing corporation with another new product innovation that was eventually implemented by that corporation. That new product innovation has been sold and has continued to be sold in major grocery chains for over ten years. That innovation did make many tens of millions of dollars (near $100 million dollars). This artist develops 3D artwork, similar to movies, television shows, television commercials, and even video games.
