Digitally manipulated photos and hand paintings in collage. One of the series Gardener's Dreams. My photos together with my watercolour paintings. - limited edition - five hand signed editions - paper Hahnemühle Photo Rag 188 g/m2 (100 % cotton) - Inks HDR Ultrachrome pigment inks - museum quality I've been working with my Dream -series since 2006. My first Dream series was Archaic Dreams. After that came Urban and Space Dreams and some smaller series like Animal- and Finnish Dreams. I started the Gardener's Dreams series just couple of years ago - when I began to archive photographs of the period of 20 years. I found so many useful photos of flowers and plants, that I couldn't just leave them on the archives. After this dreamy stuff - almost seemingly too beautiful to be my art stuff - I will stop all the series under the title Dreams. I have waken up now and I know very clearly what kind of art is coming next from me. The idea of my Dream series was to challenge my photography skills together with my paintings using photo manipulation. The themes I've used in my art works have been changing from ancient art especially Norhern rock art motives, space, animals and finally plants, particularly flowers together with my paintings, drawings etc. I've had several exhibitions in Dream series as you can see fro my exhibition list from the Profile page.

Mental Art Gym I have drawn, painted, and photographed for a long time - almost every day for decades. I work both analogically and digitally. I have dozens of collections that I will continue on a long-term basis. I share my process on social media and in a couple of annual physical exhibitions. The most important thing is that I can realize my creativity with both old and ever-renewing techniques. I am an experimenter, explorer and adventurer. I love eternal change, surprises and coincidences. I am just as comfortable with traditional artist supplies as with computers. My whole art has become recognizable, a cartoon that looks like myself. The most important are layers, transparency, line, rhythm and colour—mental gymnastics with them.
