Grief Limited Artwork

The series Archaic dreams has been under development since 2005. In the series I use my photos of ancient rock art places and wild animals. I have an idea that all times - past, present and the future - are layered in one point. I use to call this time as vertical time. In Archaic Dreams I try to tell you something about this kind of time experiene. There are about 100 art works already in this series. I made this picture couple of years before the most difficult time in my life. I had the most enormous grief because of the loss of my elder son and father, who both left during in ten months. I think grief has always been part of the human race from the first beginning to the final end. So, this picture belongs also to the series Archaic Dreams. Digital collage, in which I mix my photos and hand made paintings and drawings. Limited edition consists only 5 high quality art print on Fine Art Hahnemühle Photo Rag cotton based matte photopaper with Ultrachrome pigment inks. The high-density pigments provide rich and long-lasting colors and tonalities. Art prints are hand signed.
