Emma Viktorovna is a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in painting and photography, with a strong foundation in the Russian academic tradition. Her work combines deep philosophical inquiry, technical mastery, and a profound connection to cultural heritage. Emma is a member of the Eurasian Union of Artists, the Professional Union of Artists, and the International Academy of Contemporary Arts. Her practice has been recognized with four international art awards and featured in several exhibitions of global importance. In 2025, Emma served as a jury member for the international art prize Art Bird, where she also authored critical reviews, including evaluations of artists of higher standing. Her voice is respected in both professional and academic circles, with scientific articles published on the philosophy of academic painting in the post-digital era. Emma has participated in over 16 exhibitions, including international juried shows such as: • Stella Virtuoso • Art Excellence Awards • Artist World • Art Expo in China • “United by Art” (Mexico) • “Art and Peace: The Great Victory of Life”, commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II (supported by the Russian State Duma and featured by RT, Kazakhstan Today, and other international media) Her work also includes icon painting and portrait commissions for the Holy Trinity Church in Irkutsk — a federally recognized cultural heritage site. This contribution was officially acknowledged by the church rector for its spiritual depth and adherence to canonical standards. Emma’s recent cultural project, Faces of Baikal, highlights the visual heritage of the Buryat people and Lake Baikal. It includes paintings, interviews, and eco-conscious merchandise, with proceeds used to support reforestation in Siberia. Emma sees her mission as the preservation and evolution of the academic art tradition in contemporary contexts — both through visual language and scholarly reflection.
