The Plumehawk and the Mantlefalcon are two bird sculptures, representing urbanized animals and interpreting what happens when nature encounters the city. The sculptures are meticulously crafted, with surfaces ranging from polished to raw cast textures. The material’s essence and the movement of the mantle are intended to be prominent, as well as the plumage’s texture. They are cast in recycled aluminum, created through skilled craftsmanship. These birds are found on a backyard in Barkarbystaden outside Stockholm in Sweden.
