Nikolay Bozhinov, also known as NikkaWhy, commences his art endeavours as a keen graffiti artist. During his degree in Fine Arts his portfolio expands to include other, rather academic fine art forms. Transforming public space and reshaping public perception of visual culture, however, remains his main source of fulfillment and thrills. Since 2009, NikkaWhy works with Viktoria Georgieva under the street art project Sunshiners. They together realise a series of works, turning urban environment into art gallery. In his individual work, focusing on conceptual art, NikkaWhy looks into sociopsychology by the means of multicomponent works varying in size, material, and setting.
