3D SKELETON LUGE. 2014. Drawing

There are no brakes or steering mechanisms included in this aerial Skeleton Luge. She has caught a magnificent down draught, and hurtled herself off. Face down and head first, she screams with fear and delight simultaneously. Grasping the solid bulbs of frozen air, she uses shoulder pressure opposite to that of her seating area, and with pace, power and skill, she darts maniacally across the vast landscape below. She is still trying to steer in a less erratic fashion by controlling her head. Just turning from side to side , the air rushing past will cause movement to preferred side. She's thankful that she's 3D and wonders how she would ever cope with solid body parts.
