Mollie Morrissette’s work as an artist and animal advocate are joined by one common goal: to celebrate the dynamic relationship between people and animals in that each influences the psychological and physiological state of the other.
Animals have always played huge roles in the lives of humans and while early civilization saw them as mainly a food and fiber source or a hunting tool, modern society views them as companions, family, and best friends.
With the greater esteem of companion animals in the household and in society, there has also come a greater emphasis on the animals’ lifelong health.
To that end, Mollie Morrissette’s goal, as a pet food safety expert, has been to advocate for consumers to make informed decisions that improve the health and well-being of their pets.
She endeavors to promote the bond between humans and animals in her work as an artist. Her inspiration comes from the relationship she has with consumers and the indelible relationships they have with their beloved pets.
It is the exquisite beauty of the profound bond between human and animal what Mollie strives to capture in her illustrations.
