Drawing: Pastel, Environmental, Interactive on Paper.
The work is done in oil pastel and traces of snails (snail slime).
Dimensions without frame: H:28, W:14, D:0.1 cm
Framed and signed on the back.
The work is inspired by the poem "After slugs" wrote by the poet - mathematician Ion Barbu / Dan Barbilian, where we find the verse "Print the girdle snail slime".
The principle that is structured poetic art of Ion Barbu appears set in a style difficult to decipher by excessive synthetic formulation, by discontinuity of images, by option of word rarely or specialized math and sometimes the tendency to give another meaning of words in context, than that which we have in common use.
