About The Artwork
The yoga drawing series began when trying to do yoga with my wife and realizing I'd much rather watch her than feel my hamstrings. The beauty of yoga is how aware the yogi becomes of his/her body, which makes for a perfect model in fine art. This model was my wife's teacher, Denise Deniger. This pose is called Bakasana. It is drawn with graphite on paper. Bakasana is framed and ready to hang.
