While studying at Penn State for my BFA, I was lucky enough to study with Robert De Niro, Sr. He hardly said much about any of the student's work, but I for one learned a lot about painting by posing for Bob, and hanging out with him for three months at Penn State, and later in New York City. While at Pratt Institute, I spent two years absorbing all that George McNeil had to say in his art history classes. These two masters, along with all of my other art experiences have made me into the artist that you see here.
