About The Artwork
I chose to study cocktails because I am inspired by the elegance of the shapes of the glasses they come in, and how the different types of cocktails have different representations of themselves in each form, each with its own aesthetics. Drawing is based on the close study of a Nikolaschka photograph from"A Cocktails Manual" written by the Tokyo Bartender: Kazuo Uyeda. The setting of the cocktail was completely reorganized based on my imagination.
