ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Original art by me, Roger Seward. This framed drawing is 26.5" x 20" x 0.75" in size. Framed in medium, grey wood, ready to hang from d-rings installed on back. Titled "Dreaming Lemur", this piece is one of a series of charcoal and acrylic drawings on paper. Lemurs capture my imagination through their raw, childlike energy and their serene poise among the branches. This drawing conveys a surreal, dream-like state. The lemur is drawn on a bright, saturated green background enhancing the other worldly quality of the space. This drawing combines my favorite subjects featuring a lemur, hippos, a tree, and fire hydrants. I love creating these pictures that smash imagination and reality together to forge a new head space.
