Edge of an orb Drawing

This artwork which is done on the graphite and charcoal medium on paper which took me an incredible 356hrs to complete, got downloaded from akash. It is a message about the very force of creation been also the force of destruction. It signals the action in inactivity. The lay man might say, I am accusing God of being the creator and destroyer but its a matter of perspective. The woodpecker on the background is there to further illustrate this, that when most people think of it as a catalytic bird; (we) see it as an incredible artist with its beak (creation and destruction happening simultaneously). The water droplets there is a constant reminder of the very essence and purity of creation. I chose the grey particle medium because that's how I perceive existence. Its dark particles vibrating all the time at different paces given form when the light dances with the void. I really wish you can view and collect this piece and hold it dearly to your heart with the same plight I had in mind while creating this masterpiece!
