My paintings are built through the careful repetition of thousands of individually painted organic shapes. Layer by layer, these small forms come together to create larger geometric compositions that explore rhythm, balance, and the expressive power of color.
I am fascinated by how complex visual harmony can emerge from simple, repeated marks. Each painting begins with an underlying structure, but the work evolves intuitively as colors interact and forms respond to one another. From a distance, the paintings appear unified and architectural; up close, they reveal a richly textured surface that reflects the time, patience, and precision invested in every piece.
My practice explores the relationship between order and movement, structure and spontaneity. By combining geometric abstraction with a hand-crafted, mosaic-like surface, I seek to create paintings that invite sustained looking—works that continually reveal new connections as the viewer shifts between the whole composition and its intricate details.
