This surreal image depicts the challenges and triumphs of the 2020 pandemic. Stick-figure characters wearing masks navigate a chaotic cityscape, symbolizing isolation and resilience. Elements like a plant, a lightbulb, and a clock represent hope, innovation, and the passage of time. The overall tone is both unsettling and hopeful, reflecting the unique blend of fear, uncertainty, and resilience that characterized that time.

I was born in 1973 on the banks of the Volga River, in the city of Saratov, and grew up on the banks of the Dnieper River, in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, where I became an artist. Since my childhood I felt drawn to art and it has always accompanied me. I was inspired not so much by objects as by the emotions they evoked. I endeavoured to convey in my works what cannot be seen, only felt. I grew, but my passion grew with me. Each painting became a reflection of my inner world, an ability to share what is hidden behind the words. I don't paint objects, but how they breathe, how they live in our memories and dreams. I am not afraid of experimentation, because art is always a search. My work is a dialogue between me and the world, an attempt to understand and explain what words cannot convey. I am inspired by nature, people, their emotions and stories. Each painting is a part of me, my journey, my joys and fears. And if my work can resonate in someone's soul, then I am on the right path. Now I continue to look for new forms of expression, new ways of conveying my thoughts and feelings. For me it is important not only to create, but also to develop, to search for new horizons. Art is not only a gift, but also a responsibility, and I am ready to bear it, continuing to share my vision of the world with everyone who is ready to look and see.
