About The Artwork

First place in the 5th black and white / Fine arts Center / Maracaibo - Venezuela / Nine-piece polyptych with a real size of 275,19 x 297,63 in. This series of portraits is an approximation to the archetypes imposed by social prejudices, xeophobia imposes stereotypes that label individuals who are considered outside the system, my intention was to break those barriers and make portraits of street women, indigent, crazy , Drug addicts, and make them beautiful, more human, like the rest of us, with the same ability to take bad or good decisions, I want to find the beautiful in the misfortune and pain of life. I am looking for a simple and minimalist way that I can be more sincere when talking about the dramas of life. NOTE Assembly of plastic and collage paper 90 gr / m2 on soft cotton of 260 gr / m2. Signed on february 2014 and a certificate of authenticity is added. All my drawings are sent rolled and very well protected in a tube.

I am interested in understanding the nature through the representation of organical forms. My work research the elements of the nature as a subject of interest; I feel to become more sensitive towards nature to extract the necessary recourses to explore organic forms and detach them, using sketching, paintings and ceramics as means for the perception of the space and the plastic reflection to then translate my work into a more sensitive language.
