The Bethesda fountain, with its Angel of the Waters statue, is located in the center of the terrace. "....the sculpture's angel was inspired by a Bible passage in the Gospel of John that describes an angel blessing the Pool of Bethesda and giving it healing powers." My drawing displays the beautiful lit up Bethesda in the evening inspiring a tranquil and peaceful scene. It is a place that I like to visit when I'm near 72nd St. on the upper west side.
