About The Artwork

Requires framing to be properly displayed. Our Brooklyn brownstone has an unusual feature. 73 feet below the basement there is an active spring of the purest water. Hundreds of years ago anteaters and Dutch people bathed and coifed in the jet of refreshing h20. The spring is still so active in fact our landlord, a structural engineer in "the city", was able to the direct the stream through a vertical flue opening into a crystal chimney conveying a steady flow of water through the stories to our apartment on the 10th floor. A continuous river bubbles and circles our bedrooms where candles float on coconut shells through living area into our kitchen where the silver stream winds around wall mounted shelves both cascading down liquid stairsteps and defiantly climbing, with spark of mist twinkling, up the window seals and ceiling mouldings. Washing dishes is a breeze as we simply hold cups and plates under waterfalls so pure we don't need soap. Same thing in the bathroom; a non stop shower sprinkles through a spaghetti colander into a drain( the aperture of an old view camera) which ushers water up to our roof garden and irrigates the peyote plants.
