Inspired by the much loved sculpture, Laocoon and His Sons, I wanted to do my own interpretation of the piece with some more human like features to the figures. At the same time, I also wanted to stay true to the current state of the piece by not creating major portions that are currently missing (such as the figure's arms). That allowed me a lot of freedom to express my own vision of the anatomical tension that is so apparent in the scene.
