Light on Julia was inspired by an art assignment exploring Chiaroscuro - an effect looking at the contrast between light and shadow. To me, it also captures a bit of the smokey quality associated with "Fumata". I hope the viewers will enjoy Julia emerging from the shadows as well as the texture and energy created by expressive marks,
