Taking Flight. A pencil drawing of a precious little angel getting his wings as he soars to the heavens. This Little Angel was drawn for his family as a memorial of their little boy ascending to heaven to get his wings. ABOUT IRMA MASON Irma Mason Irma Mason is a native of the Midwest but spent a lot of time traveling between Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas, Wyoming, Arizona, California, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, and Florida. At the young age of 5, she began an obsession with Art. An obsession she has carried with her throughout her life. Irma Holds a Degree in Fine Art as well as numerous Art and Photography Awards both in the US and Internationally. Although Irma concentrates on acrylics and oils, she is well accomplished in other mediums including Watercolor, Pastels, Colored Pencils and Graphite. I started drawing at an early age and sold my first drawing in kindergarten. I love drawing and painting and am a very creative person. I've painted throughout my life and did professional photography for over 30 years. I am now back to my first love, painting and creating images that are unique and touch someone's heart because of their beauty or imagery. I was born in Indiana and raised in Ohio. I currently live in Florida. My artistic influences include Rembrandt, Leonardo Da Vinci, Edgar Degas, Norman Rockwell, and Magaret Keane (Big Eyes). I draw y draw inspiration from life and the beauty that surrounds us. My favorite mediums include, Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors, Pastels, Pencil and Graphite. I have a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts Artists Ive've worked under/with include James D. (Skip) Werline. Maysville, Kentucky. Prizes and awards you've won I exhibited at the Ohio State Fair and won an Award of Recognition while working on my bachelor's degree in fine arts in Ohio as a college student.
