ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This drawing is on a surface called clay-coat, a paper ideal for delicate, detailed drawing. A departure from my usual style, this drawing was a meditation on loss and change after a beloved art mentor passed from Covid ( he gave me the paper, as well as the easel I use everyday). The work ships flat in a box, and is not framed.
