ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Mystery Lady" is a portrait of an unknown lady inspired from a old sepia photo of a mysterious lady with a hat from the 1920s. Who was she? What is her story. I choosed to do her portrait in charcoal on white handmade Coton art paper with strong contrast to recreate a dramatical historic atmosphere. I wanted the viewer to feel that she was looking at them trough history with her pains and secrets, like I felt drawing her, as a testimony of another era... The portrait will be shipped in a tube with a certificate of authenticity.
