Art Description

Drawing: Charcoal on Paper.

Oscuro is a work created in the SLD laboratory in Paris in 2013 by Salud López (SLD).
Made with recycled material from an architectural studio, in particular brown paper and charcoal made with the remains of wood burned in a fireplace.
The drawing seeks to discover what was hidden in the paper, what he painted in charcoal made from homemade manufacture. How in a trance state the tracing of the drawing reveals the hidden content, that character under the lines, we ask who it represents? Another figure appears in the drawing that seems to be the same question?
These drawings have their termination in the perception of the person who sees them, and the appreciation of them varies greatly depending on the distance, the objective from where and with which they look. Both the figure that seems to appear, and the action itself has some religious adoration.
