Vivencias de la niñez en un pueblo del interior del Uruguay. Siempre nos visitaba un circo criollo, pequeño, sin animales, solo el Hombre con su talento particular para ser Payaso, malabarista, acróbata, comediante, etc. El payaso y la acróbata antes de la función comparten un mate y conversan de la vida, en su camerino de lata. Todo ese mundo de magia nos maravillaba. Espero tratar ese mundo fantástico a mis ojos, pero en realidad melancólico, esforzado y sobreviviente.
