About The Artwork

This is my hand-made pencil drawing of the brave Pretty Nose Pretty Nose (1851) was an Arpano woman who participated in the Battle of the Little Bighorn. She lived to be at least 101 years old and reportedly became a war chief. I was fascinated by her photography, she seemed powerful and delicate at the same time. I decided to paint her portrait. It is among the first in the collection of portrait presentations symbolizing the rich cultural history of strong and beautiful tribal women worldwide. Owning this dynamic piece of art will inspire you to connect with people from different cultures worldwide. You will experience simple people from unique and special tribes all across the world. Additionally, this portrait shows you that we are all differently beautiful, making the world more beautiful and interesting.
