"Psychic Medium" Drawing

I could describe myself as an empath. I see the world in a different way than most other people. I can sense when people around me are happy, sad or angry. Sometimes I can even feel their physical pain. I absorb all such emotions on an everyday basis: when I meet people, when I watch anime or movies, when I attend public events. It is hard for me to hold emotions inside myself and to let go these feelings I draw, paint and write poems.

My art expresses how I perceive the world and the feelings I am able to read from the world around me. My artwork contains emotions that were present in the moment when I created it. Those are either my emotions or another person’s emotions.

While creating art, I am not sure myself what will come out of the work that I am doing. Only after I am done the drawing takes shape of what it actually is. Most of the time it is a mix of different elements and there is no one way to look at it. People can find in my art something that only they can see and no one else notices.

I prefer to draw on paper using ink or pencil. Lately, I also started to use oil and acrylic on canvas to combine colors and shapes to better express my emotions.
