Art Description

Drawing: Clay, Charcoal, Pastel on Paper.

I have been working with clay a bit lately, really enjoying the earthiness and tactile nature. Recently I was fascinated with the marks that the wet, red clay was making on the table and pulled out some paper to capture some of these prints. This little piece is one of the results. After the clay dried I worked on it with some charcoal and pastels, and finally sprayed some fixative on it.
The drawing is unframed, but packaged nicely with a certificate of authenticity, so it can be gifted. The paper is off-white and of pretty fine quality. The size of the drawing should make it easy to find a small frame of your liking to hang it in.
