I began drawing at school and continued my studies at college, where I attended my first life drawing class. Coming from a family in real estate, I pursued a career in property, with art remaining a constant alongside my professional life. I worked at the BBC after I left school and for photographers in fashion, and the music industry. Over the years I was encouraged to exhibit, and sales at early exhibitions prompted a renewed commitment to my practice. I now attend life drawing sessions regularly and continue to develop a figurative body of work rooted in line, presence and lived experience.
