They have been trying for a baby for ages without success. They have read books and journals and attended numerous seminars. They’ve endured many people offering opinions and professed outcomes. She’s decided on the lay back method and hopes for the best. She’s tried the legs up against the wall and other suggested techniques and has decided upon the leg draped over the body pillow. She imagines the whippet-like things hurling themselves willy-nilly in a frenzied panic inside her. She pictures linear formations going about their duty with an enthusiasm unrivalled as the blind lead the blind like late patrons inside a Movie Theatre; more jostling than co-operation. Then there is the group formation that keeps to a tight circular format held together by mere cohesion. These bounce to and fro trying to locate the final entrance, similar to the little ball bearings in those disc games in the Xmas stocking. All the while, she pops a chocolate or two in consolation of hit and miss. The sugar hit may just do the trick.
