About The Artwork

Done using graphite and Charcoal on toned paper. This piece was inspired by the uniqueness and rarity in individual personality. The idea however was conveyed through this middle aged woman of west northern African decent. Her hair(Crown) and earring made from pearl is symbolic to value and essence worn uniquely to portray her beauty and worth. There’s beauty in everything we just need to embrace things the way they are.
