There is not a more iconic face than Marilyn Monroe. I think it is because she worte everything she was feeling on her face. Indeed it became a pseudo make up it you will. Ex when I was drawing her mouth I noticed that even while her mouth was technically a frown it oozes passion and love. That was just her nature. She lived on a deeper level than most, left the world early but full of years This is an original illustration utilizing watercolor, markers, pen and ink, ballpoint pen and color pencil.
