Godwin Tsatsu Agboklu is a hyper-realistic pencil artist with a lifelong passion for drawing. He studied visual arts at Presbyterian Senior High School Osu, where he explored various art forms but found a particular interest in portrait drawing. After school, he sought inspiration from galleries and encountered a fellow trainee who taught him drawing techniques. Godwin honed his skills through self-study, utilizing social media to learn shading techniques with charcoal, graphite and color pencils. After five years of dedicated practice, he began creating hyper-realistic drawings focused on the human body, emphasizing the stories behind scars and details of skin. In addition to his art, Godwin co-founded SLUM ART STUDIOS under the organization DUNK GRASSROOTS, aiming to provide a safe space for community children to express themselves through art. His work often reflects his personal experiences and seeks to educate others about their own hidden truths.
