ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an ink drawing of two Mayan tribal groups at war with a European conquistador caught up in the middle. All this action is happening under the rumbling eruption of a not-too-distant volcano as the Aztec sun looks on. This work was executed in technical pens, promarkers, and acrylic ink on quality 140lb watercolour paper. It has been professionally framed in a modern white frame and matching red mount for a dramatic effect.

She has been illustrating children's books since 2012 and has illustrated +/- 50 books. In 2014, she received the Kuykendall Image Award for Excellence in Illustration for her work in Nancy Scalabroni's book, "Couga Monga Minga Man."
