About The Artwork

Since childhood, my attention has been directed to the ephemeral beauty of flowers. This works, based on a careful observation of Sweat Pea, illustrate the plant from different angles in order to depict its movement and its expression. It is like a portrait, in which I am looking to capture the individuality of each flower. The composition, dominated by fresh green and light violet, is complemented by technical notes concerning all the colours used the painting. The signature is situated in the left bottom corner. The work will be shipped with the certificate of authenticity. Sinuous, organic lines and asymmetry present in my works, are related with my fascination with the artistic movements of the turn of the 19th and 20th c., especially to the Arts&Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Déco.
