TENSILE ATTRACTION Drawing

Three discussions to consider. The mother experiences pain and joy of birthing and then watches over the child as she develops and walks the differing, diverse paths towards her own adulthood. The slight remorse of an impending maternal loss,coupled with a bursting pride as she play- rolls the child's ball-world (that's ever expanding with her own agonies and ecstasies of growth, and the hurdles, ladders, and stepping stones of learning experiences) between her legs as if in a last ditch attempt at attachment and protection. The child's world is so large now, she needs to silently allow it to roll gently down and off the pointed toes in a final goodbye. She then raises herself up onto strong hands and casually beckons her knees up to close herself completely..Detachment complete. She rolls her own existence to an emotional equilibrium.
