The Old Man and the Doves. Drawing

I am interested in experimenting with different materials such as pastels, gouache, watercolor, charcoal, colored pencils. My favorite technique in which I work is monotype combined with original graphics. The source of inspiration is often books such as fantasy novels, mysterious stories, historical works. With the help of the monotype technique, I can recreate the extraordinary and picturesque nature, the image of a person, the mythological plots that are narrated. In this way I overcome the boundaries between the conscious and the unconscious, manifesting the mystical key points described in the real picture of the world. Based on the experience of artists of such trends as magical realism, expressionism, surrealism, and romanticism, I build my own reality. My author's technique immerses the viewer in a special emotional environment, expands the boundaries of visual experience, freeing the imagination, seeing the invisible, showing their own imagination. This approach of hand-printing and original graphics allows me to discover new qualities and techniques in myself, improving my creative skills at work.
