Tom Landry, Dallas Cowboy Coach, NFL, American Football. Drawing

I made the drawing because I'm a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Tom Landry is my favorite coach of the past. In fact, my whole family are Cowboy fans. In any event, 90% of the board was made with just a number 2 pencil. Along the way, I acquired a number 5 pencil to get the black darker which is a softer lead for darker black work. To get the hat dark I used vaseline and a number 2 pencil. The drawing is beautifully framed in black with a gray matte. The glass is non-reflective which gives the artwork stunning clarity. It's wired and ready for immediate display. I have attached to the back of the drawing the story about the drawing and what image I used for making the artwork. The actual drawing is 17X15 and placed inside the frame. I have signed the artwork on the back. The piece took about 100 hrs to complete..... The board used to make this drawing is called CRESCENT. It's a high-quality material perfect for this application. Fixative spray was used to preserve the drawing and make it smudge-proof. I work at Cowboys Lucky 7 Tatoo shop in Dallas Texas. Come on by and get a great tattoo. As the story goes-------- As you can imagine, it’s been far from smooth. To be a successful artist you need to be well-rounded and versed in many styles. You need to be able to produce on the spot and improvise sometimes. Mostly, struggles were more in the beginning of my tattoo career. Trial and error. Learning to not overwork the skin, tattoo the right depth, being able to saturate the skin with the appropriate amount of ink, and much more. Being an artist is more than just what you produce as far as the tattoo goes; you have to be able to market, digitally design, create content, network. I’ve personally been working a lot on gaining knowledge on SEO and optimizing that value. You know, the daily struggles of being an entrepreneur while also being an introvert. I’m always trying to learn and progress.
