About The Artwork
When I was living in France, I loved going to flea markets and antique dealer. I've once found a box with a collection of bones and skull of all king. I directly thought it would be a great inspiration for a drawing or any other artistic project. What I like about the vertebra is its very abstract form. The shape of it is truly fascinating. I like to sea an airplane when I look at that drawing, my two years old son sees a frog. I wanted a soft and dusty medium to try to recreate the texture of the bone, that's why I've choose graphite and dry pastel.
