This portrait was drawn from a photo found by chance while looking for some inspiration, the model had great skin tone and amazing hair that I knew would be great to draw. I chose a graphic style from the Bauhaus school as a background and coloured it to complement the models red hair. This is the first in a series of 4 drawings I will make, all using the bauhaus pattern as a motif. Polychromos colour pencil and some white ink were used to make the drawing, all on thick 220gsm brown Kraft card.

United Kingdom
I've always loved illustration and art, I started producing my own about 8 years ago, purely as a hobby initially but during the first lockdown I decided to start taking on portrait commission work which I've been doing consistently over the past few years. I do specialise in portraits but can happily work from any subject matter using a wide variety of materials from colour pencil to Biro ink.
