ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Peter P. Neuhaus is addicted to drawing people. Imaginary people. Real people. The drawings are expressive like the people are. The Köpfe-Series is an ongoing examination on how to capture the image of the head and the face. It’s an expressive work, it’s improvised, it’s direct–and the drawings are lively and even humorous in a way. Ink and nib are very direct media. Just like in a live jazz improvisation: every mistake counts! :-)
