I’ve been involved with Kimono all my life and my family has been in the industry for more than 100 years. My work focuses on the Art featured on the Kimono and in presenting this in a framed medium I call “Tatami-Komi” (similar to Origami), the system I developed demonstrates the key design area of the Kimono without dismantling, cutting or damaging the precious Kimono, the entire Kimono is thereby preserved in its original form. Each piece is individually selected by me, is of "museum quality" and carries the Wa-Dakara registered seal and certificate of authenticity. All Items are made exclusively in Japan and Kimono material is 100% Silk. Frames (option) are hand crafted custom made Japanese Red Cherry Wood.
