These make tactile and beguiling, quietly powerful additions to any interior. With materiality as a starting point, Veronica gives value and meaning to the apparently worthless and waste materials. Depth and character are created in the weave using structural effects and floating threads. Reacting to the material and its provenance, Veronica exposes its essence through the subtle combination of texture, colour and pattern. "Weaving is a metaphor. Textiles are a metaphor. Their impermanence reflects the transient nature of remembered events, experiences and emotions."
