When I decide to create my own collection, the black and white series is one of my key expressions. Some people would think It is quite sad and dark on BnW visual. But I think it’s not totally correct. The artwork Light and Shadow took in 2017 is a good example. In this work, I wanna the audience to feel the texture of light and dark of the texture. Light and Shadow is mutual existence, you can see things if the world all white without shadow, in verse, you can’t see things in absolute darkness. There are always two sides in the world, we cannot accept one side and deny another. Light completed darkness, darkness completed Lightness. That's the story of this artwork.
