This started out as a blouse that my friend Maricel gave me! It never really fit, plus it was polyester (yuck), but I liked the print. When I started creating the Scrappy Squares in 2021, I tried the knotting technique with different fabrics. Maricel the Scrappy Square was born from this experimentation!
