TUSSAH is an artist and creative director based in Tokyo, who understands the language of threads and fabrics through her career in fashion industry. Born in the epicenter of modern trends, Tokyo and began her journey by living in the US, apart from her family at age of eleven. Her taste for originality and investigation of individuals’ relations with collective mindsets grew as she spent her teenage years in California where she grew up with exposure to a variety of cultural influences. After honing her graphic art skills, she later moved to New York City where she collaborated with fashion designers and brands. She portrays how strongly collective mindsets reflect on the grand narrative of personal lives. She is now based in Tokyo and pursuing authenticity with her unique craft-design approaches with an awareness of the traditions with the sustainable development. Her iconic works of art are shown globally through both digital and physical exhibitions and also available to purchase online.
